Lavender Pork Marinade

Combine:

  • 3/4 cup minced fresh mint (lavender is in the mint family)
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped dried culinary lavender buds
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Marinade in the refrigerator at least overnight. This makes enough to marinade 2 pork tenderloins or 1 pork roast.

Cook to taste. Garnish with mint and a favorite chutney.
